A little test for a new layout.

Just to see if this image will appear in the header too. This header should work in Fresh & Clean with 920 * 116

It seem the banner will not appear in the header in Fresh & Clean… Am I doing something wrong?

  1. Can you explain me how did you manage to get a feature image finally?

    • Sure :) First of all, you need to have the Custom Design activated, otherwise it won’t work. Keep in mind this is a work around :)
      Then follow these steps for posts:
      1. Make your post and publish it.
      2. Look up the ID of your post: Hover your mouse over the edit link of your post. You’ll see “post=884″ in your edit link (the number is the number of your post). Remember that number!
      Go to your Custom Design –> CSS and paste the following in the Style Sheet editor:
      .postid-923 #branding {
      background:url('http://lotroadventures.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/testbanner.png') 0 0 no-repeat;
      }

      With the background URL being the url of the image you want to use, be it in your media library or somewhere else. Make sure the image you want to use has the width and hight of your theme.
      3. Select: Add my CSS to Fresh & Clean’s CSS stylesheet. and save stylesheet.
      Congrats, now your post has the image header you want to use.
